OneAmerica donates to help Haiti

The Salvation Army is taking donations to help in their disaster relief for Haiti. Haitians are still in need of the basics and The Salvation Army is trying to help as many people as possible.
There has been generous donations in support of Haiti’s relief. Jim Freeman of OneAmerica bank encouraged his staff to donate to The Salvation Army’s efforts. OneAmerica decided to match all the proceeds as a corporation to increase that amount. Altogether, $5,400 was raised by OneAmerica to help The Salvation Army’s Emergency Disaster Services for Haiti.
Kroger helps Salvation Army with Haiti relief

Salvation Army disaster service teams are helping in Haiti. Kroger gave $1,000 toward the relief efforts.
Kroger Central Division gave The Salvation Army $1,000 to help towards the Haitian earthquake relief. The Salvation Army has been raising money and sending disaster service teams since the earthquake hit in efforts to help the devastated country. A local Salvation Army three-man response team has been sent to help in Haiti. The three who went are Salvation Army Disaster Service Director Jerry Larsen and Salvation Army Officers Captain Marcos Ramirez and Captain Geff Crowell, all of which are trained first responders.
This isn’t the first time Kroger has given to The Salvation Army and they are continual participant in the red kettle campaign. Read more

Those injured during the Haiti earthquake wait to be helped at a clinic.
The Salvation Army is now taking donations by text message. Just text “HAITI” to 52000 to make a $10 donation to The Salvation Army’s relief efforts. One hundred percent of the donations raised for this emergency relief fund will go towards those in need.
Salvation Army Responds to Earthquake in Haiti

The Salvation Army is responding to the devastation caused by an earthquake near Port-au-Prince last night.
The Salvation Army is mobilizing resources and personnel to assist with the international relief effort in Haiti following a severe earthquake Tuesday that damaged much of the country’s infrastructure, housing and commercial buildings.
The Salvation Army has had a presence in Haiti since 1950 and currently operates schools, clinics, a hospital, feeding programs, children’s homes and church-related activities spread across two major facilities in Port au Prince, close to the epicenter of the earthquake and at other locations in the country.
