How

Offering life-changing services is an “it takes a village” task. We can do what we do because of support from grants, foundations, local business partners and individuals.

Recent polls* show that Americans are increasingly less confident in charities. In fact, only 16% of those polled said they had a great deal of confidence in how charities do business. Those same skeptics believe that charities waste as much as 24% of their resources.

The best way to build a relationshp is through trust. We want you to trust that we will be efficient and transparent in how we use your support to make a difference in our community.

Currently, 83 cents of every dollar donated to The Salvation Army goes directly to services to benefit men, women and children in need. Whether it’s providing shelter for the homeless, refuge for women and children fleeing domestic violence or providing after-school and summer camp opportunities for Indy metro youth, you can be certain that your support helps The Salvation Army continue “Doing the Most Good”.
